We have been transferring videos for over 30 years, with a grand total of around 70 years of combined professional knowledge and experience. We have a degree, various qualifications, numerous awards and we know almost all there is to know about the medium of video.

Paul TVCC Staff Pics

Paul
Paul started out in his early career as a Graphic Artist and his work eventually took him into the fashion world where he became a fashion designer. Meanwhile in the early 1980s Paul had taken to video filming and editing in his spare time. This was very new then and there was a huge market for making video films. Paul eventually invested in top-end equipment and began to make videos to a very high standard. One job would lead to another until he began to provide commercial filming and video copying services to big name companies. Paul has worked for Warburtons the bakers, Pataks Foods, British Aerospace, Ingersoll-Rand, and has filmed a host of TV and music celebrities, including Robbie Williams upon the launch of the single ‘Angels’.
This journey began way back in 1988 and he hasn’t looked back. With over 30 years of experience, there isn’t much that he doesn’t know when it comes to video.
“I always say that we are a company that will not cut corners and that we must always give our best to all of our clients, however big or small.”

James
James studied video at college and then went on to university where he was awarded a degree in TV Production. He has been with the company for almost 20 years and has a wealth of knowledge and award-winning experience in the video world, whether it comes to transferring someone’s videotape to DVD or on a large video production for a corporate client.
“My favourite thing at The Video Copy Company is when some kind of new technology comes out and I have new toys to play with. DVD to Blu-ray to 4K… what is coming next?”

Pam TVCC Staff Pics

Pamela
Pamela is responsible for the administration, management and accounting functions of the business, and has also been working in the video world for over 30 years alongside Paul. Her experience allows her to help and advise clients where necessary and assist with the practical side of the business when required.
“My favourite job at TVCC is helping to process the Cine Transfers. Many of the films are at least 50 to 60 years old and I love to see how people lived in those day – the cars and the cloths, and almost everyone visited Legoland!”

Kathryn TVCC Staff Pics

Kathryn
Kathryn is our newest recruit, and is eager to learn the day-to-day workings of the business, but most importantly, is working her way through the many services on offer at The Video Copy Company.
“One of my favourite things about working here is listening to the stories behind the tapes that customers bring in, whether it’s a wedding from 50 years ago, or happy memories of a loved one they have lost. It’s very rewarding to be able to give people the chance to watch and enjoy these memories again.”

No job is too big or small, and if this website is too daunting, we also do not shy away from the personal touch. Just give us a call or an email and we’ll be more than happy to help. We also have a studio located in Bolton in the North West of England, where customers are always welcome to call.
